Alain Patchong is the Co-founder of Advanced Industry Experts, and Advanced Performance 5, two consulting and professional services companies providing support in the fields of Operational Excellence & Industry 4.0. He also founded Mexence Digital & Robotics, subsequently invented a patent and developed a paint robot for construction. He previously held several executive positions at Faurecia, Goodyear and Peugeot, including the role of Director of Assembly and Master Expert in manufacturing at Faurecia. In these positions, he developed several trainings and led successful initiatives to implement operational excellence and robotic solutions in numerous plants. At Peugeot, he developed and implemented analytic methods for manufacturing systems engineering and production lines improvement. Besides his industrial activities, Alain is very active in the academia as a senior lecturer at CentraleSupélec, where he established and managed a chair of manufacturing and logistics dually based at Technische Universität München (TUM). He is a former Scholar at MIT, where his work is used in MIT’s 2.852 Manufacturing Systems Analysis course to showcase the application of analytics in manufacturing. Alain is the author of several articles and books on industrial excellence and a member of France’s Agence Nationale de la Recherche committee for the factory of the future. Alain holds an MS in Robotics from Ecole des Mines (France), a PhD in Automation from the Université de Valenciennes (France) and an MBA from HEC Paris (France).
François Delé is the Co-founder of Advanced Industry Experts a consulting and professional services company providing support in the fields of Operational Excellence & Industry 4.0. François has 33 years of manufacturing experience at plant and regional executive level at Goodyear Dunlop. He is an Expert in strategic concept development and strategy deployment at executive level. He is also an Expert and practitioner in operational excellence. He has held many executive positions at Goodyear Dunlop EMEA: Plant Production Director, Manufacting Operations Director EMEA, Tire Manufacturing Commercial Director Europe, Luxembourg Automotive Complex & External relations Director. In his different executive positions François has initiated and has been involved numerous lean, automation and data analytics projects to drive his plants towards excellence. François is a board member for several companies including Goodyear Germany. François holds an MS in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Université de Liège (Belgium). He is also a graduate of the Senior Leadership Development Program from Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherland). He is a certified expert in project management.
Jean-Paul Dessap is a proven industry leader in oil and gas software technology. He is interested in creating differentiating E&P value through software. A reservoir engineer by training, his 21-year track record at Schlumberger boasts consistency in results at the helm of some of the most ambitious software technology transformation programs in E&P, including INTERSECT, Ocean and Kinetix. Jean-Paul is first inventor of three patents (one granted, two pending) and second inventor on three patents (pending), all in petrotechnical software, cloud, mobility and data science applications. Jean-Paul holds an MSc in reservoir & geosystems engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Management from the Rotterdam School of Management. Jean-Paul boasts a vast experience in applying analytics to big data to enable better decisions across the value chain of organizations, from finance, through HR to engineering. Jean-Paul is currently CEO of Maillance, a company that leverages data science and artificial intelligence to address various challenges in the industrial world.
